Allison D. Bennett, MD, recently joined the medical staff at OCH Regional Medical Center. Dr Bennett completed her bachelor of arts degree in biology at the University of Mississippi in 2007, where she was a Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College and cum laude graduate. She earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson in 2011 and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at University Medical Center in June. While at UMC, Dr. Bennett was actively involved with the Jackson Free Clinic, a student-run health center for underprivileged/under-insured individuals.
Board eligible in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Bennett is a member of the American Medical Association, Mississippi Medical Association and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She practices a full scope of obstetrics and gynecology and is trained in robotic surgery, as well as the latest laparoscopic procedures. Her special interests include contraception and adolescent gynecology.
Dr. Bennett is practicing in association with the physicians at Starkville Clinic for Women.
Her office hours are Monday through Wednesday 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
